Analytics
The Analytics page shows trends from your incident history, so you can see whether things are getting better. Everyone in the workspace can open it, including viewers.
Choose what to look at
- Time range: the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Team: all teams, or one team. The team view shows incidents owned by that team.
Every figure is compared with the previous period of the same length. If you pick 30 days, you see how the last 30 days compare with the 30 before.
The numbers
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Incidents | Incidents created in the period. |
| Critical incidents | Incidents whose severity is critical. |
| Resolved rate | The share of the period's incidents that are resolved. Incidents that are still open, or were canceled, do not count as resolved. |
| Average resolution | The average time from an incident being triggered to being resolved, across incidents that have been resolved. It shows a dash until there is at least one. |
Two charts sit alongside:
- Incident volume: incidents per day across the period.
- Severity mix: how the period's incidents split by severity.
Things to know
- The page uses the most recent 1,000 incidents. If you have more than that, a note appears; choose a shorter range for a complete view.
- Incidents are placed in a period by when they were triggered.
- Sample incidents are left out, so the figures only reflect your real history.
- Average resolution is a mean, so a single very long incident can pull it up. Look at the volume chart alongside it.
